The current color of the Mexico Residency Card is beige and burgundy lettering since 2021. The card’s color was green if you obtained a temporary or permanent resident card before 2021. Every political party in Mexico has its logos and colors. The Mexico Residency Card Colors match the current political party in power colors. So that’s the reason for the color change. This change will not affect you; you do not have to take further action. If you have a green Permanent Resident Card issued before 2021, it remains the same unless you lose and replace it.
